Roll-to-Roll printing (also known as Direct-to-Fabric printing) is a textile printing method that refers to printing directly onto a roll of fabric, as opposed to printing directly on garments, or other printing methods. In this process, a Roll-to-Roll printer uses specialized ink in order to print directly onto the roll of fabric. The ink is soaked by the fabric and becomes part of the final product, preventing any distortion to the print, such as cracking, peeling or fading. Roll-to-Roll printing allows for many textile applications, from home textile to activewear.
